This 1962 Willys ‘Jeep’ Univiersal CJ-6 4-Wheel Drive was owned and used by President Ronald Wilson Reagan to tend to his ranch properties from 1963 – 1997. Mrs. Nancy Reagan purchased the ‘Jeep’ as a Christmas present for her husband, in 1963.NHVR No. 10 HAER No. CA-2320
This vehicle is in unrestored condition. It was repainted in maroon with white pinstripes in 1974 as a going-away present from the California National Guard.
This vehicle’s interior is in unrestored condition. It features green vinyl upholstery.
Liquid-cooled, F-head Kaiser-Jeep inline-4cyl 134cid/75hp with 1bbl carburetor.
This vehicle was originally used by a President Ronald Reagan on his ranch. The odometer currently reads 3,067 miles but has likely rolled over. Its total mileage is unknown. It is not currently in running condition.
