For 2024, the WWI 1918 Cadillac Type 57 (NHVR No. 4), 1911 Indy 500 Marmon Wasp (NHVR No. 11), and Amelia Earhart’s 1937 Cord 812 (NHVR No. 33) were displayed in the Foundation’s long-term rotating National Historic Vehicle Register exhibit at The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. This exhibit allows the Foundation to showcase these important pieces of automotive heritage and our work to preserve and promote automotive heritage to the attendees from all over the world that visit the legendary Henry Ford.
The rotating exhibit is part of a partnership between The Henry Ford and the Hagerty Drivers Foundation to display cars from the National Historic Vehicle Register that tell the story of the automobile in American history. Amelia Earhart’s legendary Cord will be on display through mid-May. Make sure to check it out if you will be in the Detroit area! Learn more and plan your visit at the Henry Ford’s website.
